Centre for Tourism Studies (CTS) was established in the year 2014 as an educational division of CN Travels, to impart professional training in travel, tourism, and front office management. Since these courses are not available in the eastern part of India, to encourage the local youth, Centre for Tourism Studies is coming up with full-fledged courses on applied tourism, which are industry certified, knowledge-based, professionally demanding and practically required for any travel professional. CTS also provides necessary technical support to the students, how to generate, promote and develop tourism. As an entrepreneur Today CTS fulfills the expectations of hundreds of youth by giving professional training and developing them to face the rigor of the industry with confidence and vigor.
Tourism in India is one of the highest potential industries. Now a day’s people travel to many places on holiday, pilgrim, excursion, education, medical conference adventure and many other purposes. Although the potentiality of tourism generation in North Eastern India is very high and a limited number of the population are engaged in this fast-growing field. Moreover, there are plenty of highly lucrative jobs available in the field of aviation, tourism industry and travel. Due to improper exposure and job oriented industrial training, our North East people are unable to grab those jobs. In spite of having the talent and a great desire to work a very few people could manage to achieve a position in the tourism industry in India.
With our highly skilled and experienced faculties, Centre of Tourism Studies (CTS) is the only institution in North East India which provides channelized and systematic training to the students to build their career in the tourism sector with full confidence. It is an endeavor for CTS to give proper education and exposure to our students so that they can march forward. The courses that we provide are purely job oriented which are never been taught in any courses. These courses have a high demand in the industry. With the help of these courses, our students will be more confident and develop the tourism scenario in North East India..

After conducting various on job courses and short-term courses on travel and tourism it was a big challenge for CTS to arrange Infrastructure/Faculties/Resources/e-Library and finally the placement. We already have 100% placement record till 2018 with more than 120 students working happily in the existing field of Travel & Tourism. We take the opportunity to announce that some of our on job trainees are already being engaged in various travel houses.
CTS has an exclusive tie-up with Galileo India (a system owned by Travelport). As of 2017, it has a 20% share of worldwide CRS airlines bookings.
